HEMOSTAT Reagents 

Efficient reagent concept for your daily laboratory needs

HUMAN’s coagulation portfolio includes a broad range of commonly performed screening parameters used to identify medical disorders related to coagulation and fibrinolysis. These reagents assess the potential risk of bleeding and thrombotic events. Additionally, parameters such as D-dimer serve as an aid in the diagnosis of thrombotic events and as risk indicators for the progression of inflammatory diseases, including COVID-19.

Prothrombin Time (PT), available in lyophilized or liquid form, is used for the global assessment of the extrinsic coagulation pathway and for monitoring oral anticoagulant therapy with vitamin K antagonists, such as warfarin. The activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (aPTT) helps to indicate Hemophilia A, B, and C, and is used to monitor therapy with unfractionated heparin (UFH).

HUMAN also offers solutions for determining functional fibrinogen levels and thrombin time. Essential thrombophilia diagnostic parameters, such as Antithrombin and free Protein S, are also available.

Applications of the HUMAN reagent portfolio are pre-programmed for all HUMAN coagulation analyzers.
